I’m not disappointed, to tell you the truth. I like the performances, and some of the songs can work as commendable efforts. ‘Piano Lesson’ feels very natural this time around as a casual conversation that’s intriguing to listen to, and ‘Goodnight, My Someone’ following that is on par with the original 60’s film.
But I can’t help but feel that when I got this CD (I was hoping I had ordered the original for ripping and mp3 player’s sake, but got this instead from the library) I feel like I ordered the soundtrack to a Disney animated feature film.
